      At Nizhny Novgorod School No. 74, two parents suddenly fell ill at the assembly dedicated to September 1. This was reported by Aleksey Nikonov, editor-in-chief of "Stacionar-press."

      The assembly took place outdoors in hot weather, which affected the well-being of the event’s guests. The mothers of two pupils fainted.

      Fortunately, a doctor from one of the Nizhny Novgorod hospitals, who had brought her first-grade son to school, was nearby. The school nurse also came to help. The injured were laid on the ground, their legs were raised above their heads, and smelling salts were given. Then their pulse was monitored for some time to rule out a stroke. The symptoms of one of those affected resembled orthostatic hypotension. She was advised to see a doctor.
