      The governor of the Ulyanovsk Region, Alexey Russkikh, instructed that full implementation be ensured of the agreements reached with the Nizhny Novgorod Region as part of the recent business mission. This was reported by IA "NTA Privolzhye."

      At a meeting of the task force on the comprehensive development of the region, the head of the region emphasized the need to carefully monitor the fulfillment of all the points agreed during the August 27 meeting.

      "It is extremely important now to keep these agreements under control and to carry the work on each issue through to a logical conclusion so that real deliveries begin and contract signings start," Alexey Russkikh emphasized.

      He added that the regional government should approach the process systematically, without overlooking details.

      "If we don't carry everything through to the end, it will turn out that it was all for nothing. Therefore, it is necessary to closely track every step, help our enterprises move to concrete agreements and begin work in the real sector," the governor said.

      Earlier, Nizhny Novgorod Region Days were held in Ulyanovsk, during which the main areas of cooperation were outlined — primarily in the industrial and automotive sectors.

      Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Andrey Sanosyan recalled that the region was represented by several dozen industrial companies ready to cooperate with Ulyanovsk businesses.

      "We have great prospects for partnership. I am confident that soon we will see growth in bilateral trade turnover, the launch of joint projects and the strengthening of the economies of both regions," he noted.

      The business mission was organized by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region together with the ANO "Corporation for the Development of Industry and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region." Representatives of 30 enterprises are taking part in the business trip.

      It was reported that the Nizhny Novgorod and Ulyanovsk regions will cooperate in the development of physical culture and sports.
