      In Bor, Nizhny Novgorod Region, they plan to open a factory for the production of electrical equipment for small vessels. The investment project was presented by LLC "Your Boat" at a meeting of the Council on Land and Property Relations.

      The company intends to locate production facilities in the settlement of Neklyudovo in the Borsky District. The volume of investment is estimated at more than 60 million rubles, and the project implementation period is 40 months.

      The investor requested to lease a plot of about 10,000 square meters. The territory is free of buildings, but it contains utility infrastructure: drainage, a high-pressure gas pipeline and a section of a municipal road. All protection zones are accounted for in the project documentation.

      A company representative said they plan to set up assembly of their own line of electrical equipment for installation on motorboats, which will then be sold across Russia under their own brand.

      The district administration opposed this, noting that another project had previously been approved for this plot. Some council members expressed doubts about the conformity of the business plan with the declared industry. In particular, the documents included metalworking, which is not related to the electronics industry. However, investor representatives explained that the business plan has already been revised and the project fully complies with the requirements.

      It was also stated that the plot is intended for light industry, but the Ministry of Urban Development clarified that the electronics industry falls into the light industry category.

      In the end the council supported leasing the plot, provided all technical restrictions are observed and coordination with the owners of the utility networks is carried out.

      Earlier it was reported that the council approved plots for 29 new investment projects with a total investment of more than 4.1 billion rubles. In particular, a year-round glamping site and a sports complex are also planned to open in Bor.
