The Russian Orienteering Championship for athletes with musculoskeletal impairments was held in Dzerzhinsk.

      Competitors from Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Karelia, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and the Rostov, Lipetsk, Sverdlovsk, Pskov and Nizhny Novgorod regions came to compete for medals. The program included not only competitions but also a classification seminar for specialists, conducted by Candidate of Medical Sciences Guzel Idrisova, head of the Department of Paralympic Education, Science, Anti-Doping and Medical Support of the Russian Paralympic Committee. Athletes from our region won three silver medals: Lyubov Kozina in the classic and the sprint, and Ivan Konovalov took silver in the classic distance.
