Incidents
Nizhny Novgorod activist Tatyana Arshinova has been included in the list of individuals involved in extremist or terrorist activities. The data were published on the official website of Rosfinmonitoring.
The agency does not specify the reason for its decision. Open sources report that Arshinova was detained in July 2025 in her apartment. A criminal case has been opened against her under Article 282.2 of the Criminal Code of Russia — "Organization of the activities of an extremist organization." On the day of her detention, the court ordered her to be remanded in custody.
Previously the activist had already been held administratively liable for participating in protest events. In particular, in 2018 she was detained in Nizhny Novgorod at an unauthorized march in memory of the politician Boris Nemtsov, who was murdered in Moscow.
Earlier it was reported that Nizhny Novgorod resident Vadim Alekseevich Slinyakov was officially included in the list of persons suspected of involvement in terrorism and extremism.
