MegaFon launches unlimited on MAX.

      Use of the MAX messenger has become free for MegaFon subscribers. Now the operator's customers can text and make calls through the app without worrying about using up their mobile internet.

      The Russian messenger MAX is now included in the "Unlimited for messengers" option and is also available in a number of other MegaSila offers that allow free use of messaging services. If a subscriber already has similar offers activated, using MAX will not consume their primary internet data and will be free by default.

      New users, as well as those who have not previously activated MegaSila offers, need to enable this option themselves. This can be done either at any MegaFon retail store or remotely—through the personal account or by calling the call center. All new subscribers are provided with between three and nine MegaSila offers free of charge, depending on the chosen tariff. With the MegaFamily service connected (combining relatives' numbers under one tariff), "Unlimited for messengers" is available to all its members.

      Thanks to the new option, all MegaFon tariffs become not only more affordable but also more functional, opening additional possibilities for the operator's customers without increasing expenses. Now subscribers can use the new service without worrying about incurring extra charges.

      MAX is a national messenger and a digital platform of user services. MAX offers audio and video calls, chats, voice messages, sending large files, money transfers; information channels are running in test mode. As of August 19, it had 18 million registered users. Android accounts for 73% of registered users, iOS for 26%, and 1% for the PC version.
