At Nizhny Novgorod’s Chkalov Airport on August 22 a flight to Sukhumi was delayed. Departure was postponed by three hours, according to the airport’s online departures board.
The EMB-190 aircraft belonging to the airline Ikar was scheduled to depart for the capital of Abkhazia at 14:15.
Because of the delay, the flight was merged with another one that was also due to fly to Sukhumi, but at 17:15.
Other departures are operating as usual.
Earlier it was reported that direct flights from Nizhny Novgorod to Thailand may be launched.
