The area near apartment building No. 184 on Maksim Gorky Street in Nizhny Novgorod will be landscaped by the end of the summer, reports pravda-nn.ru.
As the administration of the Nizhny Novgorod district said, a major overhaul of the heating main had previously been carried out on this site.
During the work the sidewalk along the building was dug up, fenced off with construction barriers and temporarily made inaccessible to pedestrians. Machinery was operating on site, and passage along the street was restricted for several months.
The heating network reconstruction is now complete. The contractor has begun the next phase — restoring the landscaping. According to the district administration, all work is scheduled to be completed by the end of August.
It was previously reported that landscaping of Avtozavodsky Park is planned to begin in Nizhny Novgorod in 2026.
