      The Nizhny Novgorod Metro will change its operating schedule for the night of August 20–21. This was reported by the Municipal Enterprise "Nizhny Novgorod Metro".

      The extension is related to celebratory events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the nuclear industry. To ensure comfortable travel for residents and visitors, the subway will operate until two o'clock in the morning.

      From 23:30 on August 20 until the end of service, trains will run at four-minute intervals.

      The last trains will depart the terminal stations at around two o'clock in the morning. From Park Kultury station a train will leave at 02:05, from Gorkovskaya station — at 02:07, from Strelka station — at 02:05, and from Burevestnik station — at 02:04.

      Also, on August 20 restrictions on motor vehicle traffic will be introduced on the Volzhskaya Embankment.
