      Over two months the passenger flow on three routes of the Sormovo trolleybus depot — Nos. 1, 3 and 25 — increased by 22 thousand passengers. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Nizhny Novgorod Ministry of Transport.

      Thus, in June 2025 the trolleybus routes were revised. In particular, a new autonomous route No. 1 was launched, service on route No. 3 was increased, and trolleybus No. 25 was redirected to the railway station.

      According to transport officials, already during the first two months after the changes passenger flow on these routes grew by 1.5–2 times. Route No. 3 became especially popular — its popularity continues to grow.

      Due to sustained demand, the possibility of switching route No. 3 to a permanent operating mode, including weekends, is currently being considered. For now it operates with restrictions.

      It was previously reported that the trial operation of the autonomous trolleybus "Sinara" in Nizhny Novgorod was extended until 31 August. It runs on route No. 1 "Metro 'Strelka' — Chaadaevo platform". From 12 June to 12 August the trolleybus carried over 8,300 passengers.

      It also became known that testing of the autonomous trolleybus "Admiral" in Nizhny Novgorod has been completed. 6,500 passengers managed to use the new trolleybus. And in July a model from Vologda, "Avangard", began trial runs on route No. 1.
