      Society — Personnel changes have taken place at the DUK of the Kanavinsky District of Nizhny Novgorod: as of 18 August 2025 the organization is headed by Maria Gorbunova. The appointment is part of the strategy of the Association of House-Managing Companies aimed at increasing the efficiency of enterprises in the housing and utilities sector. This was reported by the organization.

      The new head has been given priority tasks: strengthening control over the activities of service organizations, as well as developing interaction with residents of apartment buildings. The Association emphasizes that regular renewal of the management team contributes to improved production indicators and motivates employees to work more effectively.

      Maria Gorbunova is an experienced specialist in the housing and utilities sector. She was born in November 1982 in Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod), graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod State Agricultural Academy with a degree in "Economics and Management at Agro-Industrial Complex Enterprises." She began her career in 2008 in the administration of Nizhny Novgorod, and in subsequent years held leadership positions in state and private structures related to housing management. Since 2020 she has worked as deputy director for production issues at the Association of five house-managing companies of the city.

      Earlier it was reported that residents of five districts of Nizhny Novgorod were given the opportunity to have accrued penalties for late payment of housing and utility services waived.
