The Volunteer Center of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, with the support of the #WEARETOGETHER headquarters, handed over another motorcycle to Nizhny Novgorod motorized riflemen in the special military operation (SMO) zone to carry out combat missions.

The vehicle was purchased with funds raised by volunteers, participants of leadership projects of the Corporate University of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region (KUPNO) and concerned residents of the region. It was sent to the SMO zone as part of a humanitarian shipment that also included food, clothing, dry rations and hygiene items. Letters of support from children were handed to the fighters along with the humanitarian cargo.

“During combat operations, maneuverable motorcycle equipment makes it possible to deliver necessary supplies to our fighters, for example, provisions. That is why I submitted a request for such a means of transport and, after a short time, received a response about the readiness to transfer a motorcycle to our unit. We thank our fellow countrymen and volunteers who constantly support us. Such assistance is very important for the guys at the front,” said special operation participant Andrey.

“The Volunteer Center of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the #WEARETOGETHER headquarters and participants of the Corporate University’s leadership projects regularly hand over vehicles to our fighters to carry out assigned combat missions. Today we handed over the 36th vehicle to our heroes. Thanks to all patrons and helpers! Only together will we win!” noted Maria Samodelkina, General Director of ANO “Volunteer Center of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.”

Any resident of the region can join the aid effort and take part in humanitarian collections. To find out the current needs and requests of the fighters, you can call the hotline of the Volunteer Center of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the regional #WEARETOGETHER headquarters: 8-800-222-00-13. Volunteer groups that independently deliver humanitarian cargo to the SMO zone can use a support measure — free travel on toll roads — by leaving a request in the Volunteer Center of the Nizhny Novgorod Region group on VKontakte: https://vk.com/volcentr_nnov.
