      A new children's polyclinic will open in Sarov at Clinical Hospital No. 50 of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency (FMBA) of Russia. The event will be attended by the head of the Federal Medical-Biological Agency, Veronika Skvortsova, and the CEO of the state corporation Rosatom, Alexey Likhachev. This was reported on his Telegram channel by the editor-in-chief of the medical publication "Stacionar Press," Alexey Nikonov.

      According to him, the medical facility will be a gift to the city for the 80th anniversary of the atomic industry. It is designed to serve more than 17,000 children and adolescents.

      The new polyclinic is positioned as high-tech and convenient for patients. All major types of outpatient care will be provided here, as well as medical rehabilitation services.

      "For the first time in Sarov, a Center for Reproductive Health of Children and Adolescents will be established at the new polyclinic," Nikonov added.

      Earlier, in 2024, a Vascular Center was also opened in Sarov — a modern medical unit specializing in endovascular radiological treatment methods. The Center is equipped with an angiographic operating room and was the result of joint work between the FMBA and the city-forming enterprise — State Corporation Rosatom.
