      The Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region approved the implementation plan for the second comprehensive territory development project in the city of Sarov. The corresponding decree of August 13 was published on the official legal acts publication website on August 18.

      An undeveloped plot of 102.4 hectares, located within the boundaries of microdistricts 1A and 1B, has been allocated for development. According to the document, residential buildings up to nine storeys high, as well as social infrastructure facilities, will be constructed on the site.

      The total volume of construction will amount to 557.4 thousand square meters. Of this, 87% will be residential premises and 13% non-residential premises, which will be located on the ground floors of the buildings.

      The project provides for the construction of kindergartens with a total capacity of 480 places, a school designed for 950 pupils, a polyclinic with a capacity of 300 visits per shift, and a physical culture and wellness complex. Greening of the territory is also planned.

      The maximum implementation period for the project is set at 15 years.

      The first project of comprehensive territory development (KRT) in Sarov will be a residential complex within the boundaries of Mendeleev, Kutuzov and Ozernaya streets.
