Society. The head of the federal project for security and anti-corruption, Vitaly Borodin, proposed introducing fines for adultery and abandoning a family. He said this in an interview with the TV channel "360."

According to Borodin, family values have lost their significance today, and there are no systemic punishments for adultery and leaving the family. He emphasized that many women and single fathers turn to them for help. Recently a man with seven children came to them whose wife left and refused to take part in their lives.

Borodin proposed introducing administrative liability for divorces caused by the fault of one spouse. He suggested setting a fine of 50,000 rubles for each child left without one parent. The public figure believes this will help protect children from poverty and other negative consequences of divorce.

However, Borodin did not specify what exactly would be considered adultery and how the fact of marital infidelity would be proven. He also did not explain how exactly these measures would be applied and which authorities would be responsible for their implementation.

Nevertheless, the proposal provoked mixed reactions in society. On the one hand, some people believe it could help protect family values and ensure a fairer distribution of responsibilities between parents. On the other hand, others fear it could lead to abuses and violations of citizens' rights.
