      Incidents

      A serious crash involving two heavy trucks and two passenger cars occurred on the federal M-7 "Volga" highway in the Nizhny Novgorod region, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region reported.

      The road traffic accident occurred on the evening of 12 August in Kstovsky District. The driver of one of the heavy trucks was killed in the collision. Three other people involved in the accident sustained injuries of varying severity.

      Emergency service personnel promptly arrived at the scene. Four rescuers and one specialized vehicle were deployed to deal with the aftermath of the accident.

      The circumstances and causes of the crash are being established.

      Earlier it was reported that a resident of Nizhny Novgorod was killed in a road accident involving a motorcycle and a tractor.
