      Incidents An entrepreneur returned 350 thousand rubles to the budget after the prosecutor’s office intervened, the department’s press service reported.

      It turned out that the state-funded institution "Department of Social Protection of the Population of the Sovetsky District of Nizhny Novgorod" provided a subsidy to a self-employed individual for the development of individual entrepreneurship.

      However, the recipient later violated the terms of the social contract. He did not provide a report on the targeted use of the received funds. As a result, the contract was terminated in 2023.

      Despite the social protection authority’s demand, the man did not voluntarily return the payment. Consequently, the prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit to recover the funds.

      The court upheld the prosecutor’s claims. At present, all 350 thousand rubles have been transferred to the regional budget.

      Earlier it was reported that the 26-year-old man spent the social contract money on bets at a bookmaker in Nizhny Novgorod.
