      LLC "Sirius" from Kstovo has become the 294th participant in the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy." Experts from the Federal Competence Center (FCC) will implement lean manufacturing tools at the enterprise.

      The company specializes in the production of polyethylene pipes of various diameters for drinking water supply, sewage, protection of cable communications, gas supply, as well as pipes with a protective sheath.

      "At the Sirius production site, FCC experts will work for six months. During this time, together with the company's team they will carry out an audit, identify and eliminate bottlenecks on the pilot line. Such measures increase production efficiency, reduce product manufacturing time and increase production volume," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      At the same time, employees will be trained in the basics of lean manufacturing.

      Currently in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, 17 manufacturers of plastic products are implementing the tools of the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy." During the implementation of the federal project, output at these manufacturers has increased by at least 10%.

      From 2019 to 2024 this form of support was implemented within the national project "Labor Productivity," and from 2025 — within the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."

      The national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy," initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, is the main instrument for forming a new growth model.
