      Society — Family The Feinstra family, who moved from Canada to Nizhny Novgorod Oblast about a year and a half ago, visited Arzamas and were greatly impressed by the city. Head of the family Arend Feinstra shared footage of the unplanned walk on the Countryside Acres YouTube channel.

      As Feinstra said, he, his wife Anissa and their younger children originally went to Arzamas for pet supplies. They hoped to find a milking machine, but, not finding one, decided to take the opportunity to stroll through the city, which they were visiting for the first time.

      Arend admitted that he was surprised by the city's architecture and its atmosphere.

      He noted that Arzamas has many churches and monasteries, which gives the city the appearance of a major tourist center.

      "I had no idea it was so beautiful here! So many churches and monasteries — like a big tourist center. And it once again proves how many amazing places are around," Feinstra said.

      The head of the family also added that he definitely wants to return to Arzamas with the whole family to get to know the city better.
