      Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin has decided to speed up the processing of applications for maternity capital. Now, instead of the previous 10 days, social funds are required to process such applications in just 5 days. This was reported by the TV channel "360".

      If additional documents are required, the application review period has been reduced from 20 to 12 days. Mikhail Mishustin noted that this change is aimed at allowing parents to spend more time with their children rather than dealing with paperwork.

      Recall that since the beginning of 2025, more than 4,800 maternity capital certificates have been issued proactively in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      Earlier it was reported that the maternity capital program in Russia will be extended until 2030 by order of President Vladimir Putin.
