      Plastimat LLC from Nizhny Novgorod has become the 293rd participant in the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."

      The company specializes in the production of a bumper-group part and other automotive components. Experts from the regional competence center (RCC) will implement lean manufacturing tools at the enterprise.

      "In the Nizhny Novgorod region, 30 automotive component manufacturers are participating in the federal project 'Labor Productivity.' Many companies have already completed the full cycle of implementing lean technologies and have shown respectable results. For example, the automotive climate equipment manufacturer Thermal Master Rus increased output by 89 percent, the plastic auto parts manufacturer MS Automotive by 19 percent, and the Lyskovsky Electrotechnical Plant — a producer of signals, cables and other automotive components — by 18 percent," said the Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Maxim Cherkasov.

      He noted that implementing lean manufacturing tools as part of the federal project "Labor Productivity" makes it possible to increase overall production efficiency and ensure optimal working conditions for employees.

      RCC specialists will work on the company’s premises for six months. Together with company staff, the experts will analyze all processes and eliminate bottlenecks. Employees will also be trained in the basics of lean manufacturing.

      From 2019 to 2024 this support measure was implemented within the national project "Labor Productivity," and since 2025 — within the federal project "Labor Productivity" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."
