      On the night of August 10–11, two Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down in the Nizhny Novgorod region, the Ministry of Defense reports. According to the ministry, a total of 37 UAVs were destroyed and intercepted by on-duty air defense assets last night and this morning.

      "Last night an attack by enemy UAVs was carried out on two industrial zones in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Their target was our industrial enterprises. While repelling the attack in the Arzamas district, unfortunately it was not possible to avoid casualties and damage. One employee died on the spot, two injured were taken to hospital. My condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased. We will provide the necessary assistance to the family. Specialists are working at the site now, the mayor of Arzamas Alexander Shchelokov is coordinating the situation, and, together with the plant management, the necessary work has been organized," wrote Governor Gleb Nikitin.
