A young man from Nizhny Novgorod who lost his mother in a car accident received a million-ruble compensation.

       IncidentsBailiffs helped recover compensation from the person responsible for a fatal accident in favor of a 9-year-old boy left without a mother. The Nizhny Novgorod resident had to pay 1,200,000 rubles for moral damages, the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region reported.

      In addition, he is now obliged to transfer nearly 19,000 rubles monthly to the child until he reaches adulthood, and if the boy continues full-time education, until the age of 23.

      The 25-year-old driver was found guilty by the court of the traffic accident in which the woman died. By court decision he must not only pay a large compensation but also regularly support the child who lost his provider.

      Enforcement documents were submitted to the Avtozavodsky District Office of Bailiffs No. 1 in Nizhny Novgorod. A bailiff initiated two enforcement proceedings and notified the debtor. However, the man ignored the court order and did not voluntarily pay the debt.

      The bailiff then sent the order to the banks where the man had accounts. As a result, the full amount of the compensation was debited from his accounts, as well as 84,000 rubles in enforcement fees. Thus, the first proceeding was completed and the money was received in full.

      The proceeding on the monthly payments remains open. The bailiff continues to monitor that the man duly transfers money for the child who lost his mother.

      Earlier it was reported that the Nizhny Novgorod resident repaid debts of 750,000 rubles by signing a contract with the Ministry of Defense.
