      The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, tasked the head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Ayrat Akhmetshin, with providing a report on the progress of the investigation into the criminal case opened after the murder of a woman in Dzerzhinsk.       It is known that the deceased worked as a social worker and also held classes in eastern dance at a local fitness club. On the day of the tragedy, the woman was heading to the river through the forest, where the crime took place.

      The investigation is being conducted by the most experienced officers of the regional Investigative Committee. A comprehensive series of forensic examinations has been appointed, and active investigative actions are underway.

      Currently, the suspect has not been identified; searches for him are ongoing.

      It was previously reported that the Investigative Committee initiated a check following the death of "Dom-2" star Polina Malinina, whose body was found in her Nizhny Novgorod apartment.
