The themed specialized shift "Time of the First. The First Among the First" at the "Lazurny" Children's Center has concluded. It was implemented as part of the national project "Youth and Children." More than 500 children from all districts of the region participated. Over three weeks, more than 280 educational events were held, featuring speakers from youth policy, creative industries, volunteerism, business, and others. At the end of the shift, participants presented over 60 products across 9 areas of the educational program.

"The realization that the shift was successful is, of course, the shining eyes of our children, their desire to move forward, and undoubtedly, the results of their productive work. Imagine—participants managed to create 64 final products, ranging from creative performances to intellectual projects. This is a clear indicator of their initiative and high engagement in the field of youth policy. It shows that we have managed to do not just a typical camp where kids come to rest, but a real 'talent forge' and a platform for implementing initiatives in nine different spheres. The experience of such shifts is definitely relevant and needed by the region, so we will continue and expand it to nurture an empathetic and goal-oriented generation," said Svetlana Anufrieva, Minister of Youth Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

In the "Creativity" direction, participants produced their own theatrical concert about support and friendship, while in "Patriotism and Historical Memory," they created a chatbot about the Great Patriotic War and developed a historical board game. The "Volunteerism" direction resulted in 13 volunteer initiatives. In "Science," children organized an "anti-science" conference, and in "Grant Activities," they created a map of opportunities for children and teenagers. Young entrepreneurs and businesspeople developed 7 business projects, the best being artful-design (a branding agency). Young media specialists prepared 9 products in various formats: photo projects, videos, series of clips, posters, and podcasts. Participants in the "Skills Development" area created 10 master classes on healthy lifestyles, ecology, soft skills, and communication, which were conducted as part of the "Children for Children" campaign. The specialized team of the "Career Guidance" direction developed seven concepts for future factories that could operate within the region and the country.

All initiatives from the shift will be handed over to the regional office of the First Movement for further scaling and promotion. The projects will be developed in various areas of regional youth policy.

"The key principle of the First Movement is co-authorship between children and adults. We are glad that it is fully realized in our already traditional shift, where endless opportunities are open for teenagers and youth. Children's and adults' teams, engaging in open dialogue on discussion platforms, educational sessions, and interaction with speakers from different youth policy fields, not only fostered interest in common initiatives but also prepared them for implementation in the new academic year. The shift is an opportunity to jointly create meaning and develop motivated, successful teams. We succeeded! Moving forward! Together!" shared Vyacheslav Amosov, Chairman of the Regional Branch of the First Movement in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

Additionally, language clubs operated at the camp, where children learned six foreign languages: English, Arabic, Chinese, German, Nigerian, and French.

The shift was organized by the "Vysota" Youth Center and the regional branch of the First Movement, with the support of the Ministry of Youth Policy and the Ministry of Education and Science of the region.
