      Incidents The police are investigating an incident that occurred at a liquor store on Narodnaya Street in the Moskovsky District of Nizhny Novgorod.

      According to preliminary information from the police press service, late in the evening, a conflict broke out between a customer and the staff. After a verbal altercation, the man left the store but soon returned and threw a pyrotechnic device into the premises, then quickly fled. Witnesses heard the sound of an explosion, as reported in the "Nizhny Novgorod [uncensored]" public page.

      Police officers promptly arrived at the scene. The offender was detained. He is currently in the department, where law enforcement officials are working with him.
