Participants of the "Time of the Firsts. The First Among the Firsts" session presented over 60 of their own projects across 9 directions.

      At the "Lazurny" children's center, the thematic specialized shift "Time of the Firsts. First among the Firsts" has concluded, implemented as part of the national project "Youth and Children." Its participants were over 500 children from all districts of the region. During three weeks, more than 280 educational events were held, featuring speakers from youth policy, creative industries, volunteerism, business, and other sectors. At the end of the shift, participants presented over 60 products across 9 areas of the educational program.

      "Realizing that the shift was successful—of course, is the glowing eyes of our children, their desire to move forward, and certainly the results of their productive work. Imagine—participants created 64 final products: from creative performances to intellectual developments. This is a clear indicator of initiative and high engagement of our children in youth policy. It shows that we managed to create not just a camp for children to rest, but a genuine 'forge of talents' and a platform for implementing initiatives in nine different fields. The experience of such shifts is definitely relevant and needed for the region, so we will undoubtedly continue and expand it to nurture an empathetic and goal-oriented generation," noted Svetlana Anufrieva, Minister of Youth Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      In the "Creativity" area, participants staged their own theatrical concert about support and friendship, while in "Patriotism and Historical Memory," they created a chat bot about the Great Patriotic War and developed a historical board game. The "Volunteerism" area resulted in 13 volunteer initiatives. In "Science," children organized an "anti-science" conference, and in "Grant activity," they created a map of opportunities for children and adolescents. Young entrepreneurs and businesspeople developed 7 business projects, with the best being artful-design (a branding agency). Young media specialists prepared 9 products in various formats: photo projects, videos, clip series, posters, and podcasts. Participants in the "Skills Development" area created 10 master classes on healthy lifestyle and ecology topics, soft skills, and communication, conducted as part of the "Children for Children" campaign. A specialized team in the "Career Guidance" area developed seven concepts for future factories that could operate within the region and the country.

      All initiatives from the shift will be passed on to the regional branch of the Movement of the Firsts for further scaling and promotion. The projects will be developed in various directions of the region’s youth policy.

      "The key principle of the Movement of the Firsts is co-authorship between children and adults. We are glad that this principle is fully realized at our already traditional shift, where endless opportunities are open for teenagers and youth. Teams of children and adults, in open formats—dialogue platforms, educational sessions, and interactions with speakers from various youth policy sectors—are not just forming interest in common initiatives, but are also shaping them for implementation in the new academic year. The shift is an opportunity to create meaningful endeavors together and build interested, successful teams. We succeeded in this! Moving forward! Together," shared Vyacheslav Amosov, Chairman of the Regional Council of the Movement of the Firsts of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      In addition, language clubs operated at the camp, where children learned six foreign languages: English, Arabic, Chinese, German, Nigerian, and French. The shift was organized by the "Vysota" Youth Center and the regional branch of the Movement of the Firsts, with support from the Ministry of Youth Policy and the Ministry of Education and Science of the region.
