      LLC "Heat Generation" Modernizes Two Boiler Plants in Nizhny Novgorod

      The upgraded boiler plants will improve the reliability of heat supply in the Leninsky District

      LLC "Heat Generation" (part of "En+ TEPLO Volga") is modernizing two boiler plants in Nizhny Novgorod: on Zavkkomovskaya and Profintera streets. Outdated equipment is being replaced with new, energy-saving models.

      The contracting organization is conducting work on replacing thermomechanical and electrical equipment, installing pump groups, and gas distribution points. Specifically, at the boiler plant on Zavkkomovskaya Street, two modern hot water boilers with improved technical characteristics have been installed.

      "Fully automated boilers on Zavkkomovskaya and Profintera streets will enhance the reliability and quality of heat supply for nearly a thousand residents of 30 apartment buildings in the Leninsky District. Additionally, the equipment complying with modern environmental standards will reduce CO₂ emissions into the atmosphere," noted Anatoly Sidorin, director of LLC "Heat Generation."

      The work is proceeding on schedule and will be completed by the beginning of the heating season.

      Mikhail Yefimov, acting general director of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of LLC "En+ TEPLO Volga," highlighted that during the preparation for the upcoming heating season, equipment upgrades and major repairs are being carried out at all "En+ TEPLO Volga" facilities.

      For example, "Teploseti" is updating 3.3 km of insulation on elevated sections of heat networks and relaying 16.7 km of pipelines in the Autozavodsky and Leninsky districts. Hydraulic tests are being performed on main and district pipelines. The networks are being tested for strength and tightness to improve heat supply quality during the autumn-winter period.

      At the Autozavodskaya TPP, an extensive current repair of boiler unit No. 15 has been completed, the 23rd stage of the rotor of turbine T-100-130 has been restored, sections of steam pipelines replaced, and a new start-up oil pump installed. Pipe components and bypass pipes on turbine No. 12 were also replaced. A new transformer with a capacity of 63,000 kVA has been installed.

      At the "Severnaya" boiler house, work is underway to modernize boiler unit No. 4.

      In total, resource-supplying organizations of the "En+ TEPLO Volga" group provide heat to over 2,800 facilities in the Autozavodsky and Leninsky districts, including 1,570 multi-apartment residential buildings housing 400,000 people and 200 social facilities such as schools, kindergartens, clinics, and others.
