The state expert review approved the construction of the Nizhny Novgorod hostel for the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

      SocietyIn Nizhny Novgorod, a new dormitory for cadets of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Academy is planned to be constructed. The project has passed state examination. Information about this is posted on the GIS EGRZ portal.

      The project documentation was prepared by LLC "Nash Proekt" from Arzamas. The developer is the Ministry of Internal Affairs itself — Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution "Nizhny Novgorod Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation."

      The new project proposes placing the dormitory near house No. 3 on Ankudinovskoye Highway. The building will be designed to accommodate up to a thousand students.

      Recall that in 2021, the academy had already attempted to build such a building. At that time, a contract was signed with "CHD Engineering," which was paid an advance of 172 million rubles. However, the contractor failed to meet the obligations within the specified time, resulting in the contract being terminated unilaterally.

      The academy demanded the return of the paid funds and compensation for penalties. In 2024, the court satisfied the claim and ordered "CHD Engineering" to pay 180 million rubles.

      It was previously reported that the state expertise approved the restoration project of a cultural heritage object on Kozhevennaya Street in Nizhny Novgorod.
