      Sport A large-scale sporting bike festival dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War took place on August 3 in Nizhny Novgorod. The State Unitary Enterprise NOF team of employees participated in a bike ride through the picturesque streets of the capital of sunsets.

      The festival "Bike Nizhny 2025," held for the first time in Nizhny Novgorod, aims to promote bicycle culture and a healthy lifestyle among residents of Russia. It brought together cycling enthusiasts who choose an active way of life and environmentally friendly transportation. As usual, the State Unitary Enterprise NOF served as the main partner of the event.

      "Healthy living and ecology are values that are an integral part of our enterprise's mission. We are proud that several sporting events supported by NOF from the very beginning have now become a cherished city sporting tradition and have gained recognition and popularity among professional athletes and amateurs," emphasized ViktorOkhotnikov, Deputy General Director of GUP NOF for Procurement.

      Okhotnikov added that more and more employees of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Pharmacy participate personally in city sports events, thereby contributing to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

      "It is through personal participation that true support for any initiative is expressed. We are glad that our employees share the priorities and values of our enterprise," concluded the Deputy General Director of GUP NNOF.

      Participant of the bike ride – Head of the Structural Division of GUP NNOF, Irina Mikhaylina, shared her impressions of the event: "A very pleasant route through the most beautiful places of our city. The organizers provided everyone with a rare opportunity to ride calmly and without interruption across the Kanavinsky Bridge and the Nizhnevolzhskaya Embankment and fully experience the unique character of Nizhny Novgorod. I hope the festival will become a new city tradition!"

      A total of about 700 cycling enthusiasts from Nizhny Novgorod and other cities of the Nizhny Novgorod region participated in the bike festival. Participants covered a distance of 17 km from the "Nizhny Novgorod" Stadium to the Rowing Canal and back. The Nizhny Novgorod Regional Pharmacy supplied all participants with special roadside first aid kits for unforeseen situations. Fortunately, there were no emergencies that day, but participants noted that the roadside first aid kit is extremely useful in any life situation.
