      An 18-year-old girl from the Bogorodsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region transferred over 168,000 rubles to scammers. This was reported by the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

      A resident of Ushakovo village received a call from an unknown person claiming to be an employee of the Central Bank. He convinced the victim that her account on the "Gosuslugi" portal had been hacked. As a result, the scammers supposedly submitted credit applications on her behalf.

      The scammer advised the victim to confirm all the applications and transfer the money to "reserve" accounts. The girl transferred the money to the scammer, which she borrowed from the bank. Police have initiated a criminal case for fraud.

      Recall that a resident of Arzamas lost 57,000 rubles hoping to get a prediction of the future.
