      Automobile and pedestrian traffic on Lykovaya Damba in Nizhny Novgorod will resume on August 2. This was reported by the city transport department.

      Traffic will be organized according to a temporary scheme — in both directions, one lane each way.

      According to specialists, the first phase of construction of the pedestrian tunnel on Lykovaya Damba has been completed, which is part of the project to create a terrace park in Pochainskaya Gorge. As part of these works, engineering networks have been restored, and a new road surface has been laid.

      At the same time, the section of Dobrolyubova Street adjacent to Lykovaya Damba will remain closed. Construction of the second part of the tunnel, rerouting of utilities, and slope reinforcement of the gorge are ongoing there.

      It is also worth noting that a new bridge is being built in Pochainskaya Gorge. Earlier reports indicated that its foundation was 32% complete.
