      In the second quarter of 2025, a sharp increase in interest in vocational training was recorded in the Nizhny Novgorod region. According to the "Avito Services" platform, the highest demand was for construction, technical, and service professions.

      Residents' attention is focused on acquiring skills in key sectors of the economy. Compared to the same period last year, the number of requests for carpentry courses increased by 78%, interest in electrician training programs grew by 50%, woodworking courses by 19%, and locksmith training by 12%.

      In Nizhny Novgorod itself, the dynamics are also positive: carpentry courses became 12% more popular, and interest in locksmith training increased by 9%.

      The rising demand has also led to an increase in supply. In the region, the number of posted advertisements for carpentry courses on the platform grew 4.5 times, for electricians — 3.3 times, for locksmiths — twice, and for carpenters — by 75%. In Nizhny Novgorod, there was a 40% increase in advertisements for carpentry courses and a 20% increase for locksmith training.

      Alongside technical professions, the popularity of courses in the service sector is also growing. Particularly noticeable is the increased interest in beauty industry training programs, which is driven by steady demand for related services.

      For example, in Nizhny Novgorod, the number of requests for nail service courses increased fourfold, and interest in hairdressing training rose by 78%. Supply has also increased: courses for future hairdressers are being posted 3.6 times more often, and manicure programs 3.1 times more often. Overall, hairdressing courses across the region became twice as popular.

      An increase in interest is also observed in the culinary field. In the region, requests for confectionery courses grew 2.6 times, while the volume of offers increased 4.3 times. The demand for programs training chefs and bakers increased by 90%, and the number of related advertisements grew 5.5 times.

      In Nizhny Novgorod, interest in confectioner courses increased by 73%, with the number of offerings rising by 69%.

      Earlier, it was reported that the intake for free tram driver courses has reopened in Nizhny Novgorod.
