Incidents - In the Kstovsky District of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the body of a 23-year-old man was recovered from the Volga River. This was reported by the regional EMERCOM press service.
According to the agency, the tragic incident occurred on July 29, but the drowning victim's body was only found the next day—July 30.
A diving team from the emergency rescue unit conducted the search. After the body was recovered, it was handed over to police officers.
All circumstances of the incident are currently being investigated. Investigation procedures are underway.
It was previously reported that two people drowned in the Nizhny Novgorod region within a day: one in the Volga near Kstovo, and another in a pond within the Lukoyanovsky district.
