By decision of the city head Yuri Shalabaev, the "All Yard" festivities will continue to delight Nizhny Novgorod residents until the end of August.
Since May 19, over 12,000 residents of Nizhny Novgorod have attended neighborhood festivals. By decision of the city's head, Yuriy Shalabaev, the "Everyone's Yard" project will continue in Nizhny Novgorod until the end of August. This was announced by the city department of social communications and youth policy. According to specialists, the project has become a true tradition, bringing residents of the city together. Considering numerous positive feedback from residents, Mayor Yuriy Shalabaev decided to extend the project—ten more events will be held in various districts of the city. "The main goal of our social project 'Everyone's Yard' is to revive neighborly traditions. We are pleased that the project has become so beloved among residents that everyone eagerly awaits it in each district of the city. Our team will gladly continue 'traveling' through yards and giving Nizhny Novgorodians heartfelt celebrations," said Oksana Dektareva, director of the NGO 'Public Self-Government of Nizhny Novgorod.' According to Maria Samodelkina, head of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the All-Russian Public Movement 'Volunteers of Victory,' the 'Everyone's Yard' project is more than just a series of entertainment events. It’s an opportunity for many families to spend time together, recall good traditions, and create new ones. "We are glad that residents of Nizhny Novgorod warmly supported this initiative, which is why we are extending the project until the end of August. Let everyone have more moments when loved ones can gather in their yard and share the joy of communication. Truly, from such simple but sincere moments, real family values and love for the homeland are formed," she said. At the celebrations for Nizhny Novgorod residents, there is always a concert program, creative workshops, dance flash mobs, quizzes, and lotteries. At the end of each evening, guests can watch movies and cartoons outdoors. Residents can attend the yard festivals until August 28. The new schedule is available on the website anotosnn.ru. The organizers of the neighborhood festivals are the administration of Nizhny Novgorod, the NGO 'Public Self-Government of Nizhny Novgorod,' and the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the All-Russian Public Movement 'Volunteers of Victory.' Earlier, it was reported that the neighborly project 'Everyone's Yard,' which this year became a continuation of festivities dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, has started in Nizhny Novgorod. Annually, by order of the head of Nizhny Novgorod Yuriy Shalabaev, the popular holiday aimed at reviving neighborliness and uniting residents from all districts at yard festivals is supplemented with new relevant events.
