      Economics: Nizhny Novgorod Region has entered the top 3 most viewed regions of Russia on the Russian investment map for the entire period of the resource's existence. Since the launch of the Russian investment map (over one and a half years ago), its visitors have viewed information about the Nizhny Novgorod Region more than 6,800 times.

      Since 2025, increasing investment activity has become one of the main goals of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy."

      The platform aggregates data from investment maps of Russian Federation subjects, developed as part of the regional investment standard implementation. The map allows assessing the business environment for a potential project: markets, preferential regimes, mineral resources, and infrastructure—from road coverage to mobile communication. If necessary connections are unavailable, the property cards indicate engineering infrastructure facilities for possible technical connection.

      The map also enables searching for sites in different regions and comparing their possibilities. It includes information on key macroeconomic indicators of Russian regions that may impact project implementation.

      The Nizhny Novgorod Region also has a regional investment map: https://newmap.nn-invest.ru, representing a bilingual (Russian and English) public map of the region. The Regional Development Corporation is responsible for populating the investment map.

      "Using the investment map, one can analyze not only the site itself but also the surrounding infrastructure, the possibility of connecting to engineering networks, and much more, allowing for a comprehensive assessment of the territory's advantages," noted Igor Ishchenko, CEO of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Development Corporation. "The corporation regularly updates the information on the investment map, ensuring it remains a reliable and user-friendly digital service for investors."

      The map is developed considering the Regional Investment Standard. It provides all necessary information about available sites: land category, ownership form, access to roads and railways, average connection tariffs, and mineral deposits. Additionally, it integrates a cadastral map and mobile coverage zones, presented as an additional layer.

      The Russian Investment Map was launched in February 2024, based on regional data. By February 2025, the Nizhny Novgorod Region had already entered the top 3 most viewed regions of Russia on this platform.

      JSC "Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation" was established at the initiative of Governor Gleb Nikitin. The organization facilitates project implementation at all stages—from providing information about the region, possible support measures, site inspections, to commissioning of the project—taking on commitments to coordinate with executive authorities, local governments, natural monopoly entities, and other organizations.

      It is worth recalling that in 2025, the Nizhny Novgorod Region confirmed its status as one of the leading regions in the National Investment Climate Rating by the ASI.
