Dmitry Grunychev checked the progress of construction of two polyclinics in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      The Minister of Construction of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Dmitry Grunichev, together with the head of the territorial Roszdravnadzor office for the Nizhny Novgorod region, Sergei Shchukin, evaluated the progress of the construction of two clinics within the city district of Nizhny Novgorod. They held working meetings at the construction sites of clinics for adults: one designed for 250 visits per shift in Novinki settlement and another for 500 visits per shift in the Sovetsky district of Nizhny Novgorod. The construction of these facilities is part of the federal project "Modernization of Primary Healthcare in the Russian Federation" under the national project "Long Healthy Active Life."

      "Currently, both clinics are in the active construction phase. Since these facilities must be commissioned within a fairly tight timeframe, their progress is under special control. To facilitate the expedited completion of the clinics, working meetings were held with representatives of the clients and contractors. During the discussions, participants presented reports on process synchronization and efforts to accelerate the work," noted Dmitry Grunichev.

      It is recalled that the clinic in Novinki, with a capacity of 250 visits per shift, will have a total area of over 5,100 square meters. Currently, monolithic structures have been completed at the site, work on the external wall masonry of four out of five floors has been carried out. Installation of internal engineering networks, window block installation, roofing, façade construction, and landscaping are ongoing.

      At the construction site of the Sovetsky district clinic, the erection of the above-ground structures is nearing completion. Work on installing engineering networks has commenced. The clinic will cover an area of 7,600 square meters.

      The national project "Long Healthy Active Life" has been launched in Russia since 2025. It is a continuation of the national project "Healthcare" and is being implemented by presidential order from Vladimir Putin. The new national project encompasses all sectors of healthcare — from primary care modernization to rehabilitation.
