What weather surprises await Nizhny Novgorod residents in August: monthly forecast

      Society August 2025 in Nizhny Novgorod is expected to be warm. However, it will not be without heavy rainfall. This forecast was presented by the "Yandex Weather" service, based on average climate data from the past ten years.

      On August 1, cloudy weather will settle over the city. Daytime temperatures will rise to +24°C, and at night, they will drop to +14°C. Rain is expected only on Saturday during the first weekend of the month. On that day, thermometers will again show around +24°C.

      From August 4 to 10, meteorologists predict mainly sunny days. Rain is possible only on Monday, after which dry and warm weather will set in, with daytime temperatures between +21°C and +23°C. At night, it will become cooler—down to +12°C.

      The situation will change during the week of August 11 to 17. Rain will return to the city, reportedly falling almost daily from Monday to Saturday. The rainfall will be quite intense. Temperatures will remain stable at around +22°C.

      From August 18 to 24, sunny and dry weather is expected to return. The air will warm up to a comfortable +23°C, with no precipitation anticipated.

      The last week of summer will see a slight cooling down. At the beginning of the week, temperatures will be around +21°C, dropping to +19°C by the weekend. From Monday to Thursday, the weather will be mostly partly cloudy. However, rain will return from Friday and continue through the end of the final summer week.

      Earlier reports indicated that late July in Nizhny Novgorod would again bring hot weather without precipitation.
