Over 31 million rubles were allocated for the renovation of Central Street in Novinki.

      SocietyMunicipal authorities of Nizhny Novgorod announced two tenders for the repair of sections of Tsentralnaya Street in Novinki settlement. This information is available on the public procurement website.

      The first contract, worth over 22.2 million rubles, was awarded by the Main Directorate for Construction and Repair of the Metro, Bridges, and Road Networks. According to the documentation, the contractor will need to renovate a 0.5 km section—from house No. 18a to house No. 27. The work includes repairing both the roadway and sidewalks, as well as installing temporary road signs.

      Funding for the project is provided by the city and regional budgets for 2025. The works are to commence upon contract signing and must be completed no later than October 15, 2025.

      Simultaneously, Novinki Village Council announced a competition for the repair of another section of the same street. The contractor will need to update the segment from house No. 11 to house No. 25. The estimated cost of the works is 9 million rubles. Applications are accepted until July 31, and the winner will be announced on August 4. The repair is scheduled to be completed by October 31, 2025. Funding is provided within the municipal program "Development of Road and Transport Infrastructure of Nizhny Novgorod" for 2023–2028.

      It was previously reported that the renovation of Tsentralnaya Street in Novinki settlement became possible due to budget savings from previous procurement processes.
