Culture and Leisure "Rostelecom" has launched a gaming showcase that combines over 3,000 games for users of gaming consoles and computers running Mac OS and Windows. The new online platform provides gamers with the opportunity to purchase eagerly awaited new releases from the world of video games, top up their Steam wallet balance, and also obtain various in-game currencies.

In particular, the Rostelecom gaming showcase already offers keys for the shooters Helldivers 2 and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, as well as the latest installment of the popular fighting game Tekken 8. Users can also purchase currency for online games such as Apex Legends, Genshin Impact, Mobile Legends, and PUBG Mobile.

The catalog of the online platform will be regularly updated with new video games. Soon, users will be able to enjoy the main gaming hits of this year, including Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Elden Ring Nightreign, Stellar Blade, and others.

Hisham Nuhu, international gaming industry expert: "Today, the video game industry is considered one of the fastest-growing sectors of the entertainment industry, and the Russian market is no exception. Despite the difficulties that arose in 2022, the gaming industry in Russia is rapidly recovering, and the number of gamers is growing. Against this background, it is especially important to create domestic solutions and products. The new gaming platform from Rostelecom provides Russian gamers with broad access to diverse gaming content."

The new gaming platform is accessible to any user, regardless of internet provider. However, there are special offers for subscribers of the 'Gaming' tariff plan from Rostelecom. Additionally, various subscriptions available on the Rostelecom gaming showcase offer users extra bonuses and deals, such as in the mobile tournament CyberHero and online games Allods Online, Caliber, and Warface.

Ilya Pyatigorsky, Director of Digital Products at Rostelecom: "According to a study by the Internet Development Institute, approximately 60% of Russian citizens over 16 are interested in video games. Certainly, domestic gamers today face challenges related to the withdrawal of foreign companies from the Russian market. Common problems include lack of access to new game releases and numerous malicious sites for topping up game wallets. Rostelecom's new gaming platform confidently addresses the needs of domestic gamers. And the gaming showcase is an important, but not the last, step in the company's development of the domestic gaming industry."

The Rostelecom gaming platform is a proprietary development. All elements—from the software code to the design of the showcase—were created by the company's developers without involving external studios or contractors.
