The Society for the Reconstruction Project of Landslide Prevention Structures along Kremlovsky Boulevard between the Koromyslova and Taynikskaya Towers of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin received a positive expert review. This is evidenced by the data from the Unified State Register of Conclusions based on the results of repeated expertise.
The expertise was conducted by the State Autonomous Institution of Nizhny Novgorod Region "Management of State Expertise of Design Documentation and Engineering Surveys Results." The conclusion was issued on July 24, 2025.
The developer is the Administrative Directorate of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Government. The technical customer and project implementation contractors are LLC "PetroGradProject," the State Enterprise of Nizhny Novgorod Region for the Completion and Restoration of Real Estate, and LLC "Stroykomplekt."
It should be noted that this most likely refers to a re-examination, which is conducted in case of changes made to the design documentation. Such changes may concern the structural and other safety characteristics of the object or may be initiated by the customer when adjusting other project parameters. Details are not provided in the register.
Let us remind you that the reconstruction project began in 2024. During this time, the slope between the towers was reinforced with bored piles and parapet structures, and the slopes were stabilized with geogrids. Additionally, the area was landscaped: paving stones were laid and a rolled lawn was installed. In early July, it was reported that the pedestrian route along Kremlovsky Boulevard was reopened for walks after the completion of construction and installation work.
Furthermore, construction work is currently ongoing in the Pochaisky Ravine. It was reported that the foundation of the pedestrian bridge is 32% complete. Construction is planned to be finished in November. It was also reported that the readiness of the pedestrian tunnel near Lykov Dam has exceeded 51%.
