The capabilities of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation were presented to the business community.

      The Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation held a meeting for participants of the "Leadership Environment" business club, during which Deputy General Director for Strategy and Development Anton Garanin spoke about the organization's activities, the specifics of supporting investment projects in the region, and the opportunities available here for the development of manufacturing enterprises. About 20 representatives of the business community and business associations developing their enterprises in various sectors of the economy attended the event.

      The improvement of work quality with investors and their support from 2025 onwards are among the objectives of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy," initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

      During the meeting, business representatives were presented with existing digital services available in the region, measures to support businesses, the special economic zone "Kulebino" platform, and successful cases implemented in the region with the support of the Development Corporation.

      Currently, the Corporation oversees 314 projects totaling 333.35 billion rubles, which are expected to create over 32,000 jobs.

      "We regularly hold meetings with representatives of the regional business community to address pressing issues for entrepreneurs, familiarize them with current support measures, modern tools, and opportunities for implementing investment projects in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Business activity is growing in the region, as more entrepreneurs see opportunities for developing almost any type of manufacturing and understand that there are numerous institutions and specialized entities ready to support their initiatives. This is the key to economic development both in the central part of Nizhny Novgorod and in remote municipalities," noted Anton Garanin.

      Meetings with entrepreneurs and investors are held regularly by the Regional Development Corporation staff, at least once a month.

Entrepreneurs also have access to the "Report a Problem" service, through which they can inform about difficulties encountered in implementing an investment project and receive necessary consultation support.

      The Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Corporation was established at the initiative of Governor Gleb Nikitin. The organization facilitates project implementation at all stages—from providing information about the region, available support measures, inspecting investment sites, to commissioning facilities—taking on responsibilities related to interaction with executive authorities, local self-government, natural monopoly entities, and other organizations.

      Note: The "Leadership Environment" business club was created by participants of the "Leaders of Russia" management contest and organizes events aimed at developing management skills. Regular meetings are held in five cities across the country: Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Sevastopol, and Nizhny Novgorod. The Nizhny Novgorod branch was opened in October 2024.
