Since the beginning of the year, over 6,500 residents of Nizhny Novgorod have registered with the Regional Dental Clinic.

      In the branches of the Regional Dental Clinic, more than 6,500 residents of Nizhny Novgorod have registered since the beginning of the year. As reported by the chief physician of the medical organization, Anatoly Sidorin, over the past few years, active efforts have been made here to change the residents’ perception of the state dental care system. "We pay great attention to transforming communication between doctors and patients. For example, when selecting staff, we prefer employees who are ready not only to provide quality medical assistance but also to establish constructive and long-term relationships with patients. This fosters a more responsible attitude towards their health and encourages them to visit dentists not only in case of acute pain but also for regular check-ups. By the way, services in our branches are provided under the compulsory medical insurance policy, meaning free for patients," explained Anatoly Sidorin.

      Creating a psychologically comfortable atmosphere in state clinics is also one of the key areas of the medical institution’s work. "For two years now, we have been actively renovating our departments—interiors are designed in a unified style. Additionally, we create comfortable waiting zones, install water coolers and TVs, where we display interactive videos on dental disease prevention. Our offices are equipped with modern dental equipment that meets all standards of medical care. Such modernization of existing infrastructure is a crucial task of the new national project 'Prolonged and Active Life'," said the chief doctor of the Regional Dentistry.

      Within the framework of services under the compulsory medical insurance policy, residents of Nizhny Novgorod have access to treatment of caries, including its complications, gum diseases, as well as surgical treatments such as tooth extractions and inflammation management. The offices are also equipped with devices for diagnosing oral mucosa pathologies. "All our branches are equipped with radiological equipment, including CT scanners, allowing us to obtain 3D images of the jaws for targeted diagnosis and treatment planning," added Anatoly Sidorin.

      For the comfortable service of citizens, changes have been made to the schedule and operating hours of all 13 branches of the clinic. Patients can now receive dental care any day of the week: from Monday to Friday, doctors accept patients from 07:30 to 20:00; on Saturday— from 08:00 to 18:00; and on Sunday—from 09:00 to 15:00. Appointments during weekends and evening hours cover both emergency and planned treatments.

      Appointments with specialists at the Regional Dentistry under the compulsory medical insurance policy can be made online via Gosuslugi, the regional patient portal, or on the integrated website of the Regional Dental Clinic, as well as through the institution’s unified call center at the number: 8 (831) 422-12-42.

      The medical institution emphasized that regardless of the patient’s registration address or which branch of the Regional Dentistry they are attached to, medical assistance can be provided at any clinic division.

      Please note that from 2025, Russia has launched the new national project 'Prolonged and Active Life'. It is a continuation of the 'Healthcare' national project and is implemented by order of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
