Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Elena Yampolskaya, and the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Maxim Cherkasov, visited the production of "Desyatoye Kравelstvo 'Volga'" in the Kstovsk district on Thursday, July 24, as part of the All-Russian competition "Native Toy" (0+), organized by the Society "Knowledge" in collaboration with the "First Movement."

Recall that the "Native Toy" competition began in November 2024. During the application campaign, 28,200 ideas were received from all 89 regions of the country. Among the applications were many interesting and vibrant ideas dedicated to the heroes of the SVO, Russian historical figures, traditions, crafts of different peoples, and our country's achievements. Projects were proposed not only by companies and entrepreneurs with experience in producing a wide variety of games and toys but also by children—about three thousand such applications.

It is worth noting that the Nizhny Novgorod Region ranked first among regions at the application submission stage, with over 1,500 applications received from the region in total.

The "Desyatoye Kравelstvo 'Volga'" enterprise specifically assists five competition participants in toy development: provides its production facilities, helps select materials, and improves designs, acting as a technological partner of "Native Toy."

Participants in the competition include representatives of manufacturing enterprises, entrepreneurs, students, and schoolchildren. The Nizhny Novgorod Region was represented in the semifinals by Anton Cherkashin with his radio-controlled "Electronic Piano" project and Natalya Shkorkina with her visual-play aid "Mnemarics."

"It is important for a child to develop an interest in engineering activities through toys,"—emphasized Anton Cherkashin.

Activists of the "First Movement," together with the presidential adviser Yampolskaya and the regional Minister Cherkasov, participated in a tour of the enterprise. They learned about its history, production workshops, and products.

"Creating such an amazing thing requires meticulous work,"—admired Elena Yampolskaya, adviser to the RF President. "Of course, a toy is the upbringing of a future person."

During the open dialogue held at the production site, participants discussed the value of toys as part of national culture. As noted by the presidential adviser, even today, toys focus on Russia and patriotism.

"The production of 'Desyatoye Kравelstvo 'Volga'' serves as a benchmark for enterprises engaged in the manufacture of children's goods,"—concluded Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the region.
