      Sports In Nizhny Novgorod, the implementation of a large-scale program for the development of sports infrastructure continues. The key project for 2025 will be the completion of the construction of the Ice Arena on the Strelka, reports IA "Vremya N."

      Currently, final finishing work is underway at the site. The arena is scheduled to be put into operation by the end of this year.

      According to the regional Ministry of Sports, the installation of ten modular ski bases has already been planned, along with the construction of eight small sites for GTO standards testing, as well as the launch of a smart sports ground in Dzerzhinsk.

      Additionally, the football field in Voznesenskoye settlement is being modernized. Parallel repair works are underway at the Dynamo stadium in Nizhny Novgorod, as well as at the ice arenas of the sports schools "Kvartz" in Bor and "Motor" in Zavolzhye. All these facilities are scheduled to be renewed by the end of 2025.
