In Nizhny Novgorod, a wild hedgehog trapped in a difficult situation was rescued on the territory of Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod.
The spiny creature was found by students in a trench dug for pipe laying. The animal could not get out on its own and needed help.
They contacted university representatives, who promptly sent workers engaged in construction work on the site to assist.
The builders carefully extracted the hedgehog from the trench and handed it over to caring hands. Later, the animal was fed and checked to ensure it was healthy.
It was previously reported that an unusual "applicant" — a hedgehog — was seen at the admissions office of Lobachevsky University of Nizhny Novgorod.
