Nizhny Novgorod volunteer of the SVO: "Victory will be ours because Russia is the strongest and most powerful country!"

      Society Volunteers from all over Russia are gathering at a unified recruitment point in Nizhny Novgorod to join the military service and defend the Motherland in the zone of a special military operation.

      A 22-year-old resident of Pavlovo, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, wants to join the reconnaissance or repair crew, as he has knowledge and skills in repairing combat equipment gained during his conscript service in a tank forces repair battalion.

      "After school, I studied at technical college as a welder. I served in the army on the border in Belgorod, repairing military equipment, including those evacuated from Ukraine. After my service, I got another education and then immediately signed a contract to contribute to the country's defense. I hope that my army experience and education will help me be useful in the SVO. My great-grandfather fought in the Great Patriotic War, and my uncle was in Chechnya – I have role models. Victory, of course, will be ours because Russia is the strongest and most powerful country!” – states the soldier confidently.

      A volunteer from the Moscow region, also confident that victory will be theirs, shares: “We have more strength and resources on our side. As history shows, we always fight until we win. Our people do not give up!”

      Before signing the contract, he worked in the banking sector, has a technical education, and experience as a gunner-operator of a combat vehicle.

      “I will most likely serve as a UAV operator now. I want to try my hand in this area. In an era of high technology, drones play a huge role in the modern army. They perform many tasks—from reconnaissance to supporting combat operations. And after service, I can work in this field,” shared the resident of the Moscow region.

      Another volunteer from Stavropol Krai, before deciding to sign the contract, was engaged in a peaceful profession—baking bread. His wife and daughter understood and supported the family head’s desire to go and defend the Motherland.

      “Many of my friends and acquaintances are fighting in the SVO. I also decided not to stay aside in such a difficult time. Conducting the special military operation is fair and justified, so Russia will win!” – says the volunteer.

      The dispatching of volunteers to their service locations and the issuance of additional gear are organized by the coordination center for the support of servicemen, mobilized personnel, and their families, based at the House of National Unity.

      It is worth reminding that the state provides decent material support to the defenders of the Motherland and helps their families. Also, those who sign a contract and go to the SVO zone are issued certificates for 10 acres of land in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast. The certificate can be used two years after issuance.

      Additionally, in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, there is a mechanism for signing military social contracts, which additionally guarantees each family of a contract soldier 10,000 rubles per month for each child, benefits for utilities, preschool services, and other types of support. Individual family support for servicemen is also provided.
