      In Nizhny Novgorod, Kanavinsky District, local pensioner was robbed of a large sum of money—over 2 million rubles—by scammers. The prosecutor, investigating the fraud using modern technology, found out exactly how these funds were stolen. This was reported by the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Prosecutor's Office.

      During the investigation, it was determined to which bank account the stolen money was transferred and who owned it. Subsequently, the prosecutor filed a lawsuit on behalf of the victimized pensioner demanding the return of the illegally obtained funds—2,190,000 rubles.

      The Kuran city court fully supported the prosecutor's demands. Now, the district prosecutor's office is overseeing the recovery process to ensure the court's decision is enforced and the pensioner receives all the stolen money back.
