SK detained teenagers who attacked a man in Dzerzhinsk

      Incidents: In Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region, two 14-year-old teenagers were detained and accused of a brutal assault on a man. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of Russia for Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      It is recalled that a video was circulated on social media and in the media, showing a minor approaching a man, hitting him on the head, and then shooting a signaling rocket into his face. Following an investigation, prosecutors initiated a criminal case under the article for hooliganism using objects that can be used as weapons.

      Police quickly identified all participants in the attack. They turned out to be three schoolchildren: two 14-year-olds and an 11-year-old. The latter has not reached the age of criminal responsibility.

      The older teenagers have been detained. They have already been charged, and a court will soon decide on a preventive measure. The younger accomplice may be placed under preventive supervision.

      Currently, investigators are continuing to examine all details of the incident.
