Sarov Mobile Technopark "Quantorium" won a grant for the implementation of an interregional patriotic project

      The mobile technopark "Quantorium" in Sarov won a grant of 2 million rubles for the implementation of the interregional patriotic project "Path of Heroes: from the Half-Ton to Modernity." The organization became one of 26 winners of the competition held by the Ministry of Education of Russia as part of the federal project "We Are Together" within the national project "Youth and Children." A total of 100 different projects from across the country competed for grants.

      As explained by the regional Ministry of Education and Science, the regional project combines historical education, technical creativity, and the cultivation of civil identity. Its participants will include students from Nizhny Novgorod aged 7 to 18, as well as children from the Donetsk People's Republic.

      In August, meetings, workshops, and craft sessions on military-patriotic themes will be organized for the children, both online and in person, along with events aimed at fostering civic responsibility and pride in their homeland.

      Students will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of military equipment. For example, children aged 7–11 will learn to make models using a technical constructor, and older participants will take part in practical workshops on 3D modeling of the legendary "half-ton."

      "Interregional projects with a patriotic focus are very important for our youth. It is essential to do everything to ensure that children know their country's history well, feel the unity of our peoples, and realize what contribution each can make to Russia’s well-being. The 'Path of Heroes' project will create a platform for experience exchange, friendship-building, and strengthening patriotic feelings. This is just one of many initiatives aimed at forming a responsible civil society," emphasized Mikhail Puchkov, Minister of Education and Science of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      According to the authors of the project, their initiative was inspired by the theme of the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

      "Historical memory is a living link between generations that helps us understand the present and build the future. How we regard the deeds of our ancestors forms the basis of our national consciousness and value system. Today, during times of challenges and change, it is especially important to preserve the great heritage passed down by previous generations," believes Sergey Rybiy, Director of the Center for New Forms of Education Development, a structural subdivision of the Sarov mobile technopark "Quantorium."
